Features:

The icon of the Mother of God "Comfort my sorrows" is an icon of the Mother of God, considered miraculous in the Russian Church.
The icon is venerated on February 7 in the new style (January 25 in the old style). The icon of the Mother of God "Ease My Sorrows" was brought to Moscow in 1640 by Cossacks under Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich and kept in the church of St. Nicholas in Pupysh in Sadovniki.
This church contained records of numerous miracles emanating from the miraculous icon of the Mother of God, but a fire in 1771 destroyed all documentary evidence.
However, tradition has preserved the memory of many miraculous events, the most famous of which is the case of a complete healing of a woman of noble birth who had an apparition of the Virgin Mary.
