The wines from the Guramishvili wine cellar are outstanding. The Saguramo, made from extremely rare grape varieties from the Central Kartli region, stands out from the Kakhetian wines with its new, unique taste and aroma.

The Guramishvili wine cellar is a unique building from an architectural and artistic point of view. It was recognized as an architectural monument of Georgia in accordance with Decree No. 3/182 of 08.07.2007. The wine cellar is built in the neoclassical style characteristic of the early 19th century. In 1863, Ilia Chavchavadze, the public figure who later became a saint, married Tadeoz Guramishvili's daughter Olga, who inherited the wine cellar. After the assassination of Ilia Chavchavadze, the wine press became Marani. Communists turned this territory into a place for garbage dumps and cowsheds were filled with garbage and dust. Winemaking "has launched another project in Saguramo in the Mtskheta region. Company restored historical wine cellar of Tadeoz Guramishvili and organized grand opening ceremony. The winery, which was once owned by Ilia Chavchavadze and has been leased by the state "Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking" (KTW) for 49 years, will enable the restoration and further development of old Georgian grape varieties. Mostly rare and extinct grape varieties such as "Danakharuli", "Buza", "Shavkapito", "Khikhvi", "Kisi", "Goruli Mtsvane" were cultivated here, which were used by Ilia for wine production.

The wine cellar of Tadeoz Guramishvili was built in the early 19th century. Tadeoz was the cousin of the last Georgian queen - Mariam Tsitsishvili and one of the richest landowners in Georgia.

The recommended drinking temperature is approx. 16 - 18 °C.
This wine goes well with cheese and national Georgian poultry dishes.

The shelf life is not limited if the storage conditions are observed.
