Make your own herbal liqueurs - a 4-piece herb and fruit mix set for liqueurs - Red collection: 4 x herb and fruit mixes (total net 177 g)
The red series is a mixture of herbs and fruits for the production of alcoholic drinks from Soviet times. Our "nostalgic" series includes 4 of the best recipes from the 1950s. A simple method and a good result in just 15 days.- Herb and spice mix for making "Starka" herbal liqueur, 15g: A classic herbal liqueur. The name comes from the word "starij", i.e. aged. Its origins date back to the 15th century. The drink has a light brown color and ideally a slightly burning taste with rye notes and a complex aroma. Citrus notes harmonize with the pronounced taste of aged oak and a mild coffee aftertaste.
Ingredients: Lemon peel, oak bark, coffee beans, vanillin, nutmeg.
- Herbal spice mix for the production of herbal liqueur "Zubrovka", 15g: Zubrovka is a legendary herbal liqueur with an ancient history and a large number of admirers throughout the post-Soviet space. Zubrovka is prized for its unusual aroma of freshly mown hay. This herb still grows wild in Belovezhskaya Pushcha, where herds of bison eat it.
The drink has a very delicate, golden lettuce color. The taste is tart, with a slight bitterness and a rich aftertaste. Zubrovka is served with cold meat, game and poultry. One batch is enough for up to 3 liters of an excellent liqueur
Ingredients: Zubrovka grass, thyme, lime blossom, coriander.
- Herbal bitter spice mix for the production of herbal liqueur "Beschwipste Johannisbeere", 73g: The herbal liqueur is made from redcurrants, cherries, lemon peel, cinnamon and hibiscus flowers. It has a rich dark red color with a slight brown tint, like an old wine. The bright, rich taste and aroma of blackcurrants are combined with a slight acidity and a cherry aftertaste. It is easy to drink, thanks to sugar and berries, the strength is almost not felt. The drink is pleasantly warm and invigorating.
Ingredients: Blackcurrant fruit, dextrose, lemon peel, cherry fruit, hibiscus flowers, cinnamon.
- Herbal bitter spice mix for the production of herbal liqueur "Mountain ash on cognac", 74g: In the 1950s and 1960s, this herbal liqueur was sold in stores and was very popular. Several companies tried to revive the legendary recipe, but their attempts failed - the drink was not as tasty. It was mainly due to the artificial flavors. We go the other way - our herbal liqueur is made only from natural ingredients. The drink has a beautiful dark golden color and a tart taste of rowan, with a pleasant sweetness and spicy bitterness in the aftertaste.
Ingredients: Red rowan, dextrose, barberries, oak shavings, dried apple, cinnamon.
