Our ancestors knew about the healing properties of homemade herbal liqueurs and regularly prepared this useful and tasty drink, passing unique recipes from generation to generation.

One of the traditional strong alcoholic drinks, is Yerofeich - a classic herbal liqueur based on roots and herbs with an original bitter-spicy taste and a noticeable herbal note. According to the legends, a certain local healer, whose father had the sonorous name of Yerofei, obtained for his count a set of herbs that helped the latter to permanently recover from an unpleasant stomach ailment, which in modern medicine is called " ulcer".
The name of this count was Alexei Orlov, who rewarded his herbalist with the right to make an "elixir" in unlimited quantities.

Preparation:

Pour the contents of the package with 1.5 liters of vodka, or alcohol with a strength of 40%.
Leave to infuse for 10 days in a dark place. Shake once a day during the infusion.

Add one tablespoon of sugar (15-20 g) and stir until it is completely dissolved
Put in a dark place and leave for 3 days
Dilute to 3 liters with 40% alcohol.
You can dilute less, then the taste will be more intense
Put it in a dark place and let it rest for 2 days after dilution.

Ingredients: orange peel, galangal root, peppermint, chamomile, sage, anise, fennel, star anise, licorice root.
