The bookcase has a sturdy, powder-coated steel frame that gives it an industrial look. The retro shelves are made of solid recycled wood, which comes from floors, ceiling and support beams from old demolished buildings. Different types of wood such as pine, teak, beech, oak, mango wood, acacia etc. are used to give the furniture the characteristics of the respective wood. Reclaimed wood is already aged, weathered and dried so that it does not shrink or bend. Every step of the construction process is carried out with the utmost care, be it polishing, varnishing or lacquering. The craftsmanship and the striking wood grain make each piece of furniture unmistakable. Each piece is unique.
